Djuna Barnes, Gertrude Stein, Janet Flanner, Sylvia Beach and several other women - a group in which each of them realized herself in an unconventional way and went her own radical way against all resistance, and which, as a close community, transformed Paris into that which, among other things, distinguished this city at the time.
