Advent market in Kirchdornberg: a cozy atmosphere and festive highlights

The Advent market around the fountain and the church in Kirchdornberg invites young and old to an atmospheric start to the Advent season on December 6 and 7. Organized by the Heimatverein Kirchdornberg e.V. and the Dorfkrug Kirchdornberg e.V., the market, supported by the Dornberg district council, promises a festive atmosphere and a wealth of Christmas highlights for the whole family once again this year.

Program on Friday

• Before the opening from 16:00 in the Dorfkrug: Story time with the storyteller "Frau Wolkenstein": Exciting and Christmassy stories for all young listeners.
• Visit from St. Nicholas in the Dorfkrug: St. Nicholas distributes small gifts to the children
• From 17:00: Festive opening with open singing in front of the church. Collective singing for all visitors to get in the mood for the festive Advent season.
• Selected food and drink stands open for visitors. Opportunity for stall holders to set up and offer their first goods.

Program on Saturday

• 14:00: Official opening of the Christmas market. All stalls in the Dorfkrug and on the outside area open their doors and offer handmade products, Christmas decorations, jewelry and gift ideas.
• From 14:00: Coffee and cake in the Heimathaus of the Heimatverein - a cozy get-together with winter delicacies. Non-alcoholic cold drinks (juices, lemonades, spritzers, mineral water, etc.) are also available in the Heimathaus.
• From 16:30: Children's entertainment program in and around the Heimatvereinshaus.
• Face painting: Let your children be transformed into Christmas characters.
• Christmas movie: Three hazelnuts for Cinderella.

All day on Saturday

• Fire barrels: Provided by the fire department for a cozy atmosphere and to warm up.
• Food stalls: Variety of food and drink offering culinary winter specialties.
• Christmas stalls: Handmade products, handicrafts, jewelry and more.
