Weißblechcomics präsentiert: Captain Berlin und Zombieman

In the organizer's words:

Horror shocker! Captain Berlin! Zombieman! These titles speak for themselves - and they stand for the provocatively entertaining WEISSBLECH comic book series, which are unique in the entire German-speaking world. Other publications such as the Baba series Luba Wolfschwanz, or the post-apocalyptic series Zombie Terror and other issues round off the small but fine program. This is not licensed material, but freshly designed comics by a well-coordinated team of local artists and authors. So it's all the more fantastic that WEISSBLECH Comics will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of its founding in 2024!

In Bremen, Weissblech Comics will be presenting its two superheroes Zombieman and Captain Berlin. These two series will feature the most exciting superheroes on the German comic scene. Beyond the comic book feuilleton, Weissblech looks back, if not to the beginnings in the 10s and 20s of the last century, then to the golden 50s, when the comic genre left the pages of magazines and conquered the western world in booklet format with superheroes, detectives and western comics, but also with horror comics.

Not without an ironic look at the history of the comics genre and with a good eye for current events, Weissblech Comics provides us with the Captain Berlin created by the enfant terrible of German independent cinema Jörg Buttgereit and the Zombieman drawn by the publisher Levin Kurion, loving homages to the comic of the 50s to 70s.
