Slow Club Freiburg presents:
WE HATE YOU PLEASE DIE + MERMAID MAN
WE HATE YOU PLEASE DIE
Back with their new album " Chamber Songs ", We Hate You Please Die unveil the pages of their diary, filled with angry lyrics inspired by punk and riot grrrl movements. On stage, the honesty of Chloé, Mathilde and Joseph ignites a mixture of emotion and ecstasy, conveying the energy of their liberating universe. Between tension and brute force, the trio draws on both the power of noise and the depth of introspection.

MERMAID MAN
is Robin Heller's artistic identity, which he developed in times of global uncertainty during the pandemic.
After years of activity with Sir Robin & The Longbowmen, the brand new project revolves around the idea of reinvention and self-discovery and is the artistic response to this introspection - a creative outburst that combines the old with the new.
The fusion of different genres such as psychedelic garage, wave and soul, which can be heard on the debut album "Let's Dance To The End Of The World", is a conscious decision to break with traditional boundaries and reflects the complexity of modern life - chaotic yet harmonious, familiar yet strange.
Mermaid Man's sound is eclectic, with an emphasis on blending retro influences with modern styles.
The music is characterized by groovy bass lines, crunchy guitars and vintage synthesizers, as well as upbeat and moody atmospheres that create a multi-layered sonic experience.
