Was wäre wenn? Schreibworkshop mit Anette Naumann

In the organizer's words:

What if? This question underlies many of Israeli video artist Yael Bartana's cinematic works. Her examination of history leads to experimental attempts to come to terms with the future, as she calls it. How can the future coexistence of divergent groups of people - whether in Germany, Israel, Brazil or elsewhere - be made more successful? Who is hoping for what kind of redemption in our difficult present? Her answers are ambiguous, the images expressive. Bartana's merit is to stimulate a differentiated way of looking, a way of thinking that delays judgment and an awareness of feeling.

With the help of preparatory questions, which provide orientation during the viewing, and subsequent suggestions for writing, the personal approach to the films can unfold.
