WAS FÜR EIN SOMMER!

A vacation apartment in beautiful Binz on the island of Rügen - a great way to spend a summer vacation! Waltraud, known as Walli, knows this from her many years of experience with her ex Holger. After all, they spent the last ten years here together until she broke up with him six months ago because of his constant moodiness. Now she has a new boyfriend, Justin, and he is about to get to know the island from its most beautiful side.

Unfortunately, Holger feels the same way and tries to come to terms with his break-up with Walli right here - at the same time in the apartment next door and in the company of his new girlfriend Jackie. As the gardens of the separated couple are adjacent to each other, it doesn't take long before the two run into each other and the longed-for relaxation fades away.

However, as neither Walli nor Holger have really finished with their marriage and get on well with Justin and Jackie, the four of them try to make the best of the awkward situation. But when they go out together, the sparks fly between the still-married couple - while Jackie and Justin get on better and better ...

"WAS FÜR EIN SOMMER!" is the second play that Kay Kruppa has written single-handedly especially for our ensemble after "KANN ICH REINKOMMEN?". This means that we can offer the best entertainment in a pleasantly air-conditioned auditorium at all times, even in the summer months. Peppered with a varied selection of music sung live - be it "So schmeckt der Sommer", "Holding out for a hero", "1000 und 1 Nacht" or one or two ABBA songs - a summery, rousing atmosphere is guaranteed!
