Pachet Fulmen's first feature-length film is a hybrid work of nocturnal forays through Hamburg in documentary-animated live action. Alongside feminist social criticism, autobiographical references are never fully deciphered. Alongside the gloomy Wanda Wandalis and Krossen Kerlen, "Didi" is an eccentric character whose presence enriches the director's dark excursions and artistic positions in a fascinating way. This love, embodied by Dietrich Kuhlbrodt (known for his subversive roles in the films of Christoph Schlingensief), brings unmistakable charm and humor to the collaboration with Pachet Fulmen. "I'm not interested in pigeonholes," says Fulmen. Her art is a rebellion against convention - uncompromising, uncomfortable, unforgettable.
