In the organizer's words:

"Once and never again": documentary film about Marianne Wilke (1929-2023), contemporary witness of the war and post-war period. A journey through time with Marianne Wilke: childhood and youth under fascism as a so-called half-Jew in Hamburg, post-war period and "civil disobedience" during the occupation of Heligoland, commitment to peace, coming to terms with fascism, compensation payments for forced laborers, recognition of the Sinti and Roma as a minority in Schleswig-Holstein. Start of the journey with a quote from the music group "Die Ärzte": "It's not your fault that the world is the way it is. It's only your fault if it stays that way."
