Postvespa Elsi's latest assignment is a very special one: with its 7.5 hp, it is to transport a bottle of Arctic water from America's northernmost point to the southern tip of the continent. As you would expect, it will be an adventurous ride for the yellow motorcycle and its daredevil rider. The 6,000 km journey from Vancouver to the starting point on the Arctic Ocean already provides a foretaste of what is to follow with moose and grizzlies. The duo then rattles steadily southwards on their bizarre mission, through tundra, forests, deserts, steppes and pampas. Eight pistons, two cylinders, three brake drums and five pairs of tires fall by the wayside.
