Vernissage: Jonathan Ungemach - Still und Brach

The bar will be open and invites visitors to enjoy the works over a drink and talk about the exhibition. An inspiring evening full of artistic diversity and exciting perspectives awaits you. After the vernissage, the exhibition will be open on Thursdays from 4pm to 7pm.

The painter, graphic artist and musician Jonathan Ungemach will be showing current works from his artistic oeuvre. At the heart of his work is a concentration on the apparently mundane, which seeks to express the great in the small. The Wuppertal artist focuses on the profane, dusty and crude in order to reveal the elusive sublimity inherent in them. Sometimes enigmatically, sometimes with brute openness, inner conflicts and social observations are reflected in one another, opening up space for their ambivalence.
