Vernissage I / PRODUZENT*INNEN 2025

The exhibition PRODUZENT*INNEN is part of the new programmatic orientation Y*A*C - young artists curating at Galerie Mitte in Bremen, which has been established since 2024. After its first implementation last year, the format will be continued in 2025 with the participation of new artistic positions. The exhibition concept continues to deal with the question of the economic independence of producers and offers seven artists the opportunity to present different works in the two-part exhibition period. An accompanying supporting program, in which actors from cultural policy, associations and institutions are invited to engage with the artists' perspectives and demands, will also be a fixed component this year. Galerie Mitte acts as a catalytic interface between producers and non-commercial exhibition venues and creates space for exchange, discussion and reflection.

The potential sales process in 2025 is also deliberately based on the concept of a producer gallery. With the annual continuation of this format, the aim is to create a long-term discourse that continuously confronts the art scene with new impulses.
