Vernissage: Eames-Roadshow von Vitra

This new exhibition at ARCHITEKTENKAMMER.NRW promises an extraordinary experience: the "Eames Roadshow" will be presented, in which Eames Demetrios, Director of Eames Office and grandson of Charles and Ray Eames, brings objects and concepts of Eames design to life in a special installation.

The international Eames Roadshow conveys the collaboration between Charles and Ray Eames and the Swiss design furniture manufacturer Vitra. The installation highlights various aspects of the designer couple's multifaceted work, provides insights into the legendary Eames House in Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles, and uses various products to illustrate the designer couple's creative approach and Vitra's technical expertise.

The structure of the Eames Roadshow consists of simple, modular aluminum profiles that can be used again and again for new exhibition concepts.
