Welcome to the vernissage of the exhibition of the Chinese artist GE LU! On Tuesday, January 7, 2025, we cordially invite you to discover her fascinating works in the Hamburg Art Gallery. The exhibition will be on display until January 16.

Gelu, a pioneer of contemporary abstract art in China, combines Eastern and Western traditions in her works. She integrates the light and color techniques of Western painting with the poetic aesthetics of Chinese ink art. Her unmistakable brushstrokes and her striving for artistic freedom characterize the style of "Oriental Abstract Expressionism".

The exhibition is part of her European tour with further stops in France and Italy.
