Things get glamorous in Berlin-Mitte on New Year's Eve: as the year draws to a close and the streets of Berlin are bathed in winter light, the JW Marriott Hotel Berlin is transformed into a venue for glamorous celebrations. On the evening of December 31, 2024, the magnificent ballroom will become the setting for a Venetian masked ball - elegance, festive attire and mysterious masks guaranteed. A sumptuous gala buffet will cater to every taste, from oysters and prawns to tender steak and a delicious selection of French cheeses. Wine, Prosecco, beer and soft drinks are included in the New Year's Eve package until midnight. At 12 o'clock sharp, guests can look forward to a surprise or two to get the New Year off to a fitting start. The masquerade ball will be accompanied by the band "VIP", which will make the dance floor vibrate and ensure an exuberant atmosphere. Venetian magic in Berlin

The carnival in Venice, which was introduced by the Italian royal courts in the late Middle Ages with masks, animal fights, Hercules games and fireworks, is still one of the most famous of its kind. Even today, guests wearing mysterious masks still face each other at the sumptuous festivities. Half masks, which only cover part or half of the face, are particularly popular. On the last evening of the year, the JW Marriott Hotel Berlin brings Venetian heritage to the capital: the masked ball on New Year's Eve promises festive splendor, a mysterious atmosphere and elegant masks that create an incomparable ambience and transport guests to another world. They can enjoy wine, Prosecco, beer and soft drinks, which are included in the ticket price, until 12 midnight. The midnight champagne is also included and ensures a perfect start to the New Year. In addition to exquisite food and drinks, the rousing beats of the band "VIP" will turn the evening into a special experience. Six international professional musicians from the Berlin music scene have come together in the formation "Very Important Players" (VIP for short) to create an unforgettable entertainment experience with passion and power. At home on the world's biggest stages for many years, they have already worked with music stars such as the Weather Girls, Kool & the Gang, Alphaville, Thomas D, the No Angels and the Michael Jackson Band. With dance hits from four decades, they make every dance floor shake and ensure that no one can stand still.
