At the Vaihingen Bicycle Exchange, the following can be handed in for sale or purchased

• Racing bikes
• MTB
• Ladies' and men's bikes
• Children's bikes, scooters, tricycles
• bicycle trailers
• Exercise bikes
• E-bike/Pedelec
• Small parts such as spare parts, accessories etc.
• Cycling clothing
• child seats

All goods should be in a clean and marketable condition. Any defects must be reported at the time of acceptance. After acceptance of the goods, suppliers will receive a receipt of the written agreement concluded with the organizer. Payment of the proceeds reduced by the fees or the return of unsold goods is only possible on presentation of this receipt.

The goods accepted for the exchange will be sold for cash at the prices specified by the vendors. Payments by check or credit card are not possible.

The organizer only charges a brokerage fee of 10% of the proceeds from the vendors and only for the sale of goods (no admission fees). For bicycles or other larger items, the fee is at least €5. A transfer of proceeds is not possible.

The conditions of the organizer are binding for sellers and buyers.

Over the past three decades, the Vaihingen Bicycle Fair organized by the local cycling club (RSV) has developed into one of the largest second-hand bicycle markets in southern Germany and a popular meeting place for cyclists from near and far. In recent years, well over 1000 bicycles have been for sale. The cyclists are therefore expecting a similarly large number of more or less used bikes. Based on previous experience, around 80% of the bikes will change hands.

Wheel sizes and frame heights will no longer be recorded and labeled when the bikes for sale are listed. Written recommendations on this will be displayed at the RSV information stand. In addition, the sales assistants will be happy to help with the selection of suitable bikes and bike parts. This applies in particular to the purchase of a high-quality racing bike or mountain bike, where the correct frame height is especially important.

The sale of goods is handled by volunteers from the cycling club. After handing in their goods, vendors - like all other visitors to the market - have the opportunity to find out about the wide range of products and services on offer from well-known exhibitors who will be presenting their products and services at the bike market. In addition, officers from the police traffic education service will be on hand to advise visitors on bicycle coding, bicycle helmets, child seats and safe cycling.

Used or unsold bicycles, bicycles for cannibalization, bicycle spare parts, repair tools etc. will be accepted free of charge by the association "Technik & Solidarität (Deutschland) e.V." and recycled for its projects in Africa. More details at https://www.afrikafahrrad.org/.

! All bicycles not collected by 3 p.m. will be handed over to the association "Technik & Solidarität (Deutschland) e.V.". The RSV Vaihingen has no storage capacity. Please plan accordingly.
