Under the title "Come in, Look out", the Küppersmühle Museum is showing over 60 paintings by Karin Kneffel from the last 20 years. Her paintings have an almost photographic precision and are enigmatic at the same time. On Sunday, July 14, the artist will talk to screenwriter and theater director Klaus Weise and Kay Heymer, the curator of the exhibition, about the motivation behind her seductive paintings, about allusions from art, film history and everyday life. The discussion will be moderated by Walter Smerling. The artist will also sign catalogs afterwards.
