Together with OSTENSIV, Universen invite you to approach German perspectives from the East: From 19:00, an exhibition will open in the Cumberlandsche Galerie, put together by the collectives KRUDE BUDE and AUẞENPOSTEN. Free admission to the exhibition.
At 21:00 guest performance BRACHLAND will take place on stage. Tickets are available online and also grant access to the subsequent party with RUBI and FEAT.FEM x DJVERSITY!

COUNTERING IT: OSSIS - AND NOW?
The activist and artist FURIOUS FURIOUS and activist and cultural (knowledge) creator C H I P O invite visitors to accompany them on their search for answers to the ongoing now of East German & East migrant realities and materially powerful denigrations.

WEITERMACHEN (Outpost Collective)
The freshly released magazine "Weitermachen" tells the story of growing up in Saxony, away from the Ossi cliché and towards the realities of life.
In three chapters we are taken on a journey: to Rochlitz, Zwickau and Dresden.

ARE WE RID OF BORDERS? (krudebude)
The collective krudebude breaks open, clears away and probes: In the interactive exhibition, the Leipzig-based collective brings together video and audio exhibits with different perspectives on the reunification and post-reunification period. Interactive objects, such as the post-reunification wheel of fortune and 90s telephone, invite visitors to reflect on their own attitudes to the East-West discourse.


> Guest performance BRACHLAND <
The play Brachland tells a story about loss and new beginnings. It sheds light on how father and daughter react to the collapse of the GDR and shows their lives up to the present day. It explores the values of identity, freedom, community and respect.
Brachland was staged for the premiere in August 2024 at the historical location of the former LPG cowshed in Dahnsdorf (Brandenburg).
