Stjepan Cuka's new collection TUSK deals with the search for strength and independence.
The collection draws on the stylistics of nomadic peoples, the vastness and endlessness of the desert.
TUSK stands as a symbol of endurance and perseverance against all adversity.
Cuka is a freelance fashion designer and works on his fashion creations in his studio in the south of Stuttgart.
As with his last event 'Alle Einsteigen' in May '23 am contain't - with his upcycling denim collection - he collaborates with people he meets in his everyday life and on the street and brings them onto the catwalk.
He also invites artists from his native Croatia to complement his work on the catwalk. This time, the guests are Mladen Durdevic (hairstylist) and Tamara Kokalj (make-up artist), with whom Cuka has already staged numerous fashion shows in Zagreb.
The event is taking place in collaboration with the Stuttgart-based artist collective NOMADIC.
Part of the collective are Alisa Scetinina and Maximilian Luz, who will provide the framework for Stjepan Cuka's work with live music and dance performances as well as lighting and stage design.
The after-show party will be hosted by the NOMADIC residents.
The evening is curated by Reiner Bocka.
