In 2025, the Schützenbruderschaft will once again provide another highlight in Marsberg. The show and party band Troglauer from Bavaria will provide an unmistakable mix of folk and rock music to set the mood in our local Schützenhalle.
The five musicians, who have known each other since childhood and are best friends, mix the latest chart sounds with lush guitar riffs, traditional squeezebox and make folk music international. They effortlessly break down the supposed boundaries of folk music, escape the dusty genre pigeonholes and deliver successful hits that inspire. This year, the successful band Troglauer looks back on a proud 20 years of stage presence and invites fans, media and music lovers to celebrate this important anniversary with them. Since its foundation in 2004, the band has won the hearts of a wide audience with its unique musical blend.
The Troglauer have written an impressive success story over the past two decades. Thomas "Domml" Wöhrl, Markus "Mike" Raps, Daniel "Danny" Raps, Dominik "Nicki" Brand and Thomas "Willi" Seitz have managed to place in the official TOP 100 of the German music charts with all of their studio albums released to date. Their hits have already brought them stream numbers in the double-digit millions and are so popular that they are covered by many other bands and are a must at every party, marquee and Oktoberfest.
