This could get wild! The rap crew Teuterekordz from Berlin Prenzlauer Berg are going on tour again in 2025 with Total Raus. The tour title clearly indicates where the journey is heading and is also a reference to the EP of the same name released in 2019, which die-hard fans will probably still be familiar with.
"Teute" stands for underground rap with a high-quality sound that goes forward and illuminates the excessive nightlife of Berlin's city center, but also incorporates critical reflection or political positioning. The crew members Arkona, Beko, Dispo, Eddy, Lucky, Modus and Sechser are old friends and bring some color into the bourgeois everyday life of their gentrified district through their love of drinking and partying as well as a general aversion to regulations.
Teuterekordz are musically diverse. While "Elotrans" featured techno sounds in the summer, Lucky and Eddy's "Abfuckboys" EP, released in September, is once again characterized by modern Berlin underground rap. Together with PTK, Sechser is working on the continuation of the very political "Bundespressekonferenz"
along with the accompanying tour, while the last album "Kein Nirvana" (2022) still featured plenty of deep songs and goosebump-inducing moments.
In Teuterekordz' experience, live audiences can expect real rap, a lot of demolition and mosh pits, but also soulful moments and a well-considered show.
