Topographies from California was founded in 2018 by Justin Oronos, Jeremie Ruest and Gray Tolhurst - incidentally the son of The Cure founding member Lol Tolhurst. Their sonic universe is located somewhere between indulgent shoegaze, dreampop and an unmistakably rousing coldwave sound. They were already trumpeting this on their debut album "Ideal Form" from 2020, and their second LP "Interior Spring", which was recently released on Dark Entries Records, follows on seamlessly from there. Icy drums, lockstep bass and shoegaze guitars merge into anthemic soundscapes full of pure magic. Tolhurst's introspective vocals lead us through a sonic cosmos of passion and self-reflection. Following their appearance at the renowned Grauzone Festival, they are now embarking on a small, select European tour, including a guest appearance in Dresden.

And if you're still in the mood for a themed party night after the concert, you can simply linger on site, because immediately afterwards it's"Electric Heat": Conny Bravo and Toni Magenta serve up Dresden's hottest 70's power pop, 80's wave & post punk disco.
All ticket buyers have automatically bought their ticket for this, but there will also be a separate Box Office just for the party from around 22:00.
