Tom and Darren - The Quiz is the most versatile live quiz in Germany. Great fun for all ages! Take part instead of watching: Play with and against each other in small teams. The aim is to solve puzzles together. Everyone can contribute something, the focus is on the team: whether expert or banaus, student or teacher, janitor or manager - the best team wins! Tom Zimmermann and Darren Grundorf will guide you through the quiz in an entertaining way!

The quiz masters
Since 2011, Tom Zimmermann and Darren Grunddorf have been organizing and hosting the international pub quiz in the cult pub Aalhaus in Hamburg together and with huge success. They have taken the pub quiz to a new level and show what you can do with an event in quiz form, with quizzes now being held throughout Germany and internationally.

Tom Zimmermann
Tom actually wanted to become a judge or doctor, but fortunately his parents persuaded him to take up a profession with a future. As a child of the Ruhr region, he wears his heart on his sleeve and can artfully switch back and forth between theses on progressive financial policy and the biggest no-gos of Italian cuisine with unadulterated language and dry wit, as if his birthplace was the ARD morning show.

Darren Grundorf
Darren grew up in the East Westphalian province, studied all sorts of things at home and abroad, already had one foot in academia when he finally came to the realization that he would rather write quiz questions than doctoral theses. This dream son-in-law could easily take over the ZDF TV garden. He infects the audience with his sometimes inexplicable enthusiasm for every conceivable topic, from foreign policy to women's tennis and contemporary literature.
