T.O.L. unveils new EP "Bilateral Symmetry": A jazz experience of a special kind

The renowned jazz trio T.O.L., consisting of the musicians David Binderberger (electric guitar), Lukas Pamminger (bass) and Klaus Brennsteiner (drums), will release their latest EP "Bilateral Symmetry" in April 2025. This EP marks another chapter in the three artists' impressive 17-year musical journey together and promises to delight music lovers worldwide.

"Bilateral Symmetry" consists of four mesmerizing tracks that capture the essence of improvisation and draw inspiration from the profound symbolism of ubiquitous bilateral symmetry. Each song offers a unique soundscape that highlights both the virtuosity of the individual musicians and their impressive individual ability, as well as their exceptional talent for harmonic collaboration.

The EP was composed by David Binderberger and jointly arranged and developed by all three members - Binderberger, Pamminger and Brennsteiner. This collaboration testifies to the deep musical connection and trust that has grown over the years.

Special highlights of the EP are also the impressive guest appearances of Gary Husband (John McLaughlin, Billy Cobham, Level42, Allan Holdsworth, and many more), who plays keys on two tracks, Steve Hamilton (Billy Cobham, Bill Bruford, and many more), who provides additional depth on one track, and Danny Rico (Andreya Triana, and many more), who can also be heard on one song.

These collaborations give "Bilateral Symmetry" an additional dimension and enrich the already rich musical spectrum of the EP.
