The Tiger Lillies

The restless The Tiger Lillies have been on permanent world tour for over 30 years. It is not for nothing that they are often called "the hardest working band on earth". Not a year goes by without new albums, programs, theater productions and worldwide tours. Dark and absurd theatrics are the trademark of the band that has shaped the dark cabaret genre like no other. They fuse the macabre magic of pre-war Berlin with the biting edge of punk. As one of the most interesting avant-garde bands in the world, the Tiger Lillies never cease to surprise, shock and entertain with their inimitable sound.

The forefathers of alternative cabaret released their album "Lessons In Nihilism" in spring 2024. A theme that has always run through their work: the futility and absurdity of existence. On their current tour, a second focus is on their work "Mountains Of Madness". The song cycle is inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft and was brought to the stage in 2005 together with Alexander Hacke from Einstürzende Neubauten and Danielle de Picciotto.
