Founded in Berlin in 2007, for many years The TCHIK remained more of a multi-headed, emphatically confusing electropop collective than a cohesive band. That didn't change until the mid-teens, when the crack whores became Lulu, Doreen, Kristeenager and Ilay.

Before that, in 2010, the debut album "Jung, talentlos & gecastet" was released by Universal, and the video for "Ich und mein Pony" has one and a half million views to date. The crack whores' performance at Stefan Raab's "Bundesvision Songcontest" is also infamous.

Further albums include "Mama, ich blute" (2013) and "Bitchlifecrisis" (2019), the latter of which takes the band into the top 50 of the album charts for the first time.

The band's fourth album, "Gefühle", is released in 2021.
