The Moment – Workshop mit Feña Ortalli

If we don't know where we're going... why hurry? Some people think improvisation is speed, dynamism, immediacy. But it's not just that. It's also about pauses, harmony and silence. It's a piece that is written and performed on the spot, and like every piece, it has its moments. In this workshop we will try to find the joy in the scene through the use of music.

This workshop will be in English. But don't worry, it will be doable for everyone.

Feña Ortalli began his career as an actor in 2001. In 2006 he founded Global Impro, an improv troupe dedicated to international collaboration and exchange. He currently lives in Madrid, where he regularly performs and teaches. He also takes part in several international festivals and tours the world with his shows and workshops. His show King's Whim (with Diego Ingold) has been selected by some of the most prestigious international improv festivals. He is the founder and director of Status Impro Magazine(2011) and author of the books Impro: Dynamics of theUnexpected(2018), and Impro: Dynamics of theUnexpected II (2024). Since 2001, he has worked in over 70 cities worldwide.
