Migration. Who benefits? Who does not? Who are the political decision-makers and why? How are the different experiences of migration related to privilege and how do they intertwine with class, race and gender?
In the multimedia performance The Migrant, the Nigerian dance theater collective Illumanitetheatre Productions critically examines migration in pre-colonial, colonial and post-colonial times and combines artistic expression, academic research and community work.
