The Kilkennys

The band from Kilkenny, the sunny south-east of Ireland, is popping the corks: In fall 2025, the quintet celebrates its 25th band anniversary! For a quarter of a century, The Kilkennys have been bringing a breath of fresh air to the Irish folk scene with great original compositions and reinterpretations of old classics. For the first time on tour as a permanent band member on the accordion, the keyboard and the innovative Seaboard: Jason Turk! A special magic can be expected in the interplay of the five friends, which will also inspire a young audience for traditional Irish music. Germany was one of the very first countries in which the band toured and celebrated success outside their home country. Since then, the band has maintained a magical connection with their fans in Germany. That's why there is great joy on both sides when The Kilkennys travel through their 'second home' for eleven concerts in 2025!
