Vernissage "The Hybrid Journey"

In the exhibition The Hybrid Journey, Alexandra Haas shows an installation with works that have been created since 2021 in her exploration of archetypes and symbols. She creates a futuristic world that takes up old symbolism but leaves rigid categories behind.

A central element of the exhibition is the accompanying book, which deals with the power and transformation of symbols. It questions outdated narratives and archetypes such as the hero - figures that live on tenaciously in politics and the media to this day. And then? Then The Hero's Journey - The Hybrid Journey!

Together with Alisha Soraya, Alexandra Haas will talk about the exhibition, the history of the hybrids and the role of myths and narratives in our society.
