EMOP: The Forest For The Trees

In the organizer's words:

The Forest For The Trees - Exhibition at the AFF Gallery as part of the European Month of Photography 2025

From March 8 to April 20, 2025, the AFF Gallery presents the group exhibition The Forest For The Trees, which is dedicated to subtle structures of patriarchal power and their profound social implications. The exhibition is part of the European Month of Photography 2025 and brings together the work of Louisa Boeszoermeny, Felix Deiters, Friederike Goebbels, Miji Ih, Sinead Kennedy and Dana Rabea Jäger.

The artists put found footage, staged photography and documentary approaches in dialog with each other and show how discrimination not only takes place visibly, but is deeply embedded in social and cultural structures - anchored in images, relationships, memories and everyday experiences.

The exhibition is curated by Louisa Boeszoermeny, Friederike Goebbels, Miji Ih and Dana Rabea Jäger in collaboration with Natascha Pohlmann and Indra Schwarz.

Opening: March 6, 2025, 5:00 pm
Location: AFF Gallery, Kochhannstr. 14, 10249 Berlin
