THE FLABBIES *live

The Flabbies are among the pioneers of instrumental shoegaze and post-rock in the Istanbul music scene, creating ethereal soundscapes carried by calm but exciting melodies. Their cross-genre fusion of disco, shoegaze and psychedelic sounds recently reached new heights on their second album "Alive" (2022). Live, they have the ability to play intimate concerts on large stages and also manage to transform smaller venues into large halls. The Flabbies create the ideal combination of light, image and free-roaming notes in their performance and continue to develop their dynamic sound with every performance.

The Flabbies were founded in 2015 by childhood friends Oğuz Kont and Sarp Dağlar Şahin and released their EP "2015". They gained international attention with their debut album "Back in Town". They didn't let the pandemic slow them down, instead working together online to create their single "Under the Sun". With Can Sürmen on drums, The Flabbies became a trio in 2022 and opened a new chapter with "Jungle" in April 2022, using the momentum to record "Alive". Now they are touring all over Europe to bring their melodies and daydreams to the people.
