Friday at last! What could be better than celebrating the start of the weekend with great music and nice people at Bafa. Local punk rock of all kinds from the bands FONK (AUX), Cheap Jake (AUX), WIF (Allgäu) and den Zäunen (AUX)!

The Fences - trumpet punk, Augsburg

The Augsburgers have been playing their trumpet punk since 2003. The Fences alternate guitars with hard-hitting riffs, melodic power chords and ska parts. Driven by the energetic drum beat, no leg stays still and a colorful room of pogoing and dancing quickly emerges. The songs are filled out with guitar solos that could just as easily come from a metal song and, of course, catchy trumpet melodies! Die Zäune put their latest songs on a DIY EP last year: "Der Lack is ab!" can be found on Bandcamp, Spotify and Co.

WIF

The Allgäu has more to offer than just picturesque landscapes - the punk rock band WIF has been bringing a touch of chaos to old bourgeois Marktoberdorf for over two decades. Founded in 2004, the band has a special history: members Jojo, Rudi and Stefan have known each other since their kindergarten days. This close friendship is the basis for their unmistakable chemistry on and off stage.

With their energetic sound and German lyrics, WIF - an abbreviation for "Woodheads In Future" - stands for honest, handmade music. Their songs are a mixture of powerful melodies, striking lyrics and driving drums - exactly what makes punk rock so unique.

Since their formation, WIF has conquered numerous stages, toured the country and made a name for themselves in the local music scene.
After more than 20 years of band history, WIF proves that their music is timeless.

FONK

F.O.N.K. stands for melodic folk punk rock that is difficult to compare with established music genres in the punk rock scene, especially due to its versatile instrumental line-up. The band does not limit itself to just one style and therefore classic punk rock songs as well as good mood ska are included in the repertoire as well as mixtures of punk, folk and independent.
