In the organizer's words:

The Open Reading Stage offers authors a rehearsal stage for their texts and their performance in a relaxed atmosphere, as well as an opportunity to exchange experiences with other writers and those active in the literary scene or with potential readers. Unlike the poetry slam, no winners are chosen or last places awarded.

All forms and genres of literature are welcome: poetry, short prose, novel excerpts, song lyrics, also with musical accompaniment. Due to the Corona regulations, we have to limit the number of authors reading to 8 and the number of guests listening to 20.

We therefore ask you to register in advance (READERS and LISTENING GUESTS!!!) by e-mail at: elbaol@gmx.de (the date of registration applies; if the number of registrations exceeds the number of places, we will create a list of successors in case of cancellations).

The duration of each presentation should not exceed 10 minutes. The 1 1/2 hour event begins at 7.30 pm (there will be a break after about half of the contributions).
Cost contribution: EUR 2.00 (readers and listeners). Participants in the Open Reading Stage can also apply to the moderators to be the author of the evening and present, for example, new publications or an excerpt from their own literary program with double reading time (20 minutes).
