Over the past 20 years, Danilo Starosta from Kulturbüro Sachsen has written a large number of texts that deal with topics such as identity, ideologies of inequality and personal experiences. These texts reflect not only his development as a person, but also the social changes and challenges he has experienced during this time.
Themes and focal points of his texts:
1. personal biography: Starosta uses his own life story as a mirror to shed light on the effects of ideologies of inequality. In doing so, he addresses his origins, his upbringing and formative moments in his life that have shaped him.
2. social reflection: Many of his texts deal with youth and the social currents that promote inequality. He analyzes how prejudices and stereotypes influence social interaction and how these ideologies are anchored in society.
3. milieu perspectives: Starosta dares to make comparisons and reflect on them. This promotes a better understanding of diversity and the exchange between different realities of life.
4. empowerment and change: A central concern of his work is to encourage people to tell their own stories and rise up against social inequalities. He encourages personal growth and collective responsibility.
5. literary diversity: Starosta's texts are often written in different formats - from poetic narratives and essays to critical articles and workshops. This diversity makes it possible to shed light on different facets of his thoughts and experiences.
At the event, Starosta will provide an overview of these 20 years of literary and journalistic engagement. He will present selected texts that address the central themes of his work. There will be space for questions and the opportunity to actively participate in the discussion. The goal is to create a powerful platform to not only honor individual stories, but to encourage collaborative learning and growth.
