"Silvina of the Megeurditchians: Those who take care of us - Poetics of Space" at Kunstraum Kreuzberg/ Bethanien
Period: 1.2.2025-6.4.2025
**Opening: 31.1.2025, 7 pm**
In her most comprehensive exhibition to date, artist Silvina Der Meguerditchian explores the themes of memory, identity, migration and language, highlighting music as an expression of cultural interdependencies in the diaspora. In Those who take care of us, Silvina Der Meguerditchian presents existing works as well as new productions developed especially for the exhibition: She weaves everyday objects, traditional textiles and personal artifacts into narrative landscapes that tell of displacement, cultural heritage and resistance. In the three chapters of the exhibition - Memory, Care, Resonances - Silvina Der Meguerditchian uses expansive installations and immersive environments to open up a space for collective and performative experiences, reflection and exchange. Those who take care of us sees itself as a social and artistic practice that not only makes a universal network of care and solidarity visible, but also actively shapes it.
