Tanz! Heilbronn: Im Rhythmus der Vielfalt

"Dance! Heilbronn" invites people to dance themselves, as it does every year. Choreographer and dancer Karolin Stächele and sound artist and dancer Fiona Combosch are out and about in Heilbronn, bringing together a group of people to realize "Im Rhythmus der Vielfalt" - a dance project for everyone. Whether young or old, with or without experience, the only thing that counts is the desire for dance creativity.

During the "Tanz! Heilbronn" festival, the group will rehearse over four days and develop a rousing choreography that will be performed at the grand finale on May 18 at 4 p.m. on Heilbronn's market square. The aim of this program is to use dance to stimulate exchange between different social groups, make Heilbronn's diversity visible and bring people together who would otherwise have nothing to do with each other.

Karolin Stächele has been working as a freelance choreographer, dancer, performer and dance teacher since 2012. Under the label DAGADA dance, she has been creating full-length productions with professionals and amateurs for various spaces and stages since 2014. Karolin Stächele has shown her work nationally and internationally in Freiburg, Berlin, Leipzig, Cologne, Basel/CH, Brest/FR, Haarlem/NL and Prague/CZ, among others. She has received awards as artistic director in several children's and youth productions, including the Innovation Prize for Socioculture and the BKM Prize for Cultural Education in 2018. Karolin has been co-director of the education programs at bewegungs-art freiburg since September 2021.

Fiona Combosch has been working as a freelance artist in the fields of dance, performance and music since 2013. She is currently active in the collectives "Die Soziale Gruppe" ─ a music and theater ensemble ─ and the "Silent Cosmonauts Kollektiv" ─ a dance and performance ensemble ─. As a composer and producer, she has created soundscapes and analog compositions for various dance collectives as well as a CD. Part of her artistic work is dedicated to cultural participation projects with adults, children and young people with or without migration or refugee experience. Building bridges, making music or dance accessible to ALL is an essential component for her and she sees it as a necessary contribution to the society of tomorrow.
