After 40 steaming, liver-destroying and gut-stretching years in the name of heavy metal, there's no stopping the TANKARD beer train. Just in time for their 40th birthday celebrations, our favorite Frankfurters release"Pawlow's Dawgs", their 18th album and debut for the new label amigos Reaper Entertainment. Produced and recorded at Gernhard Studio Troisdorf, again together with Martin Buchwalter. The taps are polished, the free beer is flowing and five long years after their last studio album, TANKARD are finally back to what they do best: Drumming madly, drinking thirstily and skillfully weaving metal, humor and sarcastic social criticism into a big, roaring ball of entertainment. Just like all those years ago in a classroom where they drank beer from empty milk cartons. Long live TANKARD. Long live the dawgs. BATTLECREEK

With their new album "Maze of the Mind", the four thrashers of BATTLECREEK from the Munich area combine the unmistakable sound of German thrash metal with roots from the Bay Area. Somewhere between Exodus, Warbringer, Gama Bomb and Kreator, "Maze of the Mind" shows an indomitable joy of playing in every single note. Led by their shouter Berne, the band's fun and energy is especially evident in their live shows, which has landed them opening slots for "Tankard", "Sacred Reich" and "Testament". BATTLECREEK are always ready to escalate with you at the next thrash party! Since their formation, the four Bavarians have made a name for themselves in the national metal scene in this way, which is why they were immortalized in the documentary Total Thrash (2022).
