In the organizer's words:

Ibrahim, Soliman, Manar and Altayeb are filmmakers, friends and members of the Sudanese Film Club. After many years in exile, they return to realize their dream of reopening an old cinema after decades of Islamist censorship. Together, they want to revive Sudanese film history. To this end, they are restoring old stock and asking the community about their wishes for the future of Sudanese cinema. In doing so, however, they repeatedly have to fight against resistance, not least from the owners of the cinema. In their conversations together, they share memories of the past, talk about their persecution as oppositional artists and dream of a Sudan in which art and thought can be free.
