On February 26, 2025, "For Polina", the new novel by Takis Würger, will be published. In a unique musical reading, the bestselling author and the pianist and composer Florian Heinisch will bring the jointly developed program live on stage and bring the touching story "For Polina" to life acoustically.

In "For Polina", Takis Würger tells a love story that is as tender as it is captivating and ultimately outshines everything else: when he is fourteen, Hannes Prager falls in love with the girl Polina. To show her his love, the wondrously talented boy composes a melody that encompasses all of Polina's longings and desires. But his life takes an unforeseen turn, Hannes stops playing the piano and he and Polina go their separate ways. After years of feeling nothing but emptiness, Hannes realizes that he must find Polina again. And the only thing he can use to reach her is her melody.

Takis Würger studied the history of ideas at Cambridge and reported from Afghanistan, Libya and Iraq as a journalist for Der Spiegel. He has been a freelance author since 2020. His novels "The Club" and "Stella" were bestsellers and have been translated into many languages.

Florian Heinisch studied piano at the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy Academy of Music and Theater in Leipzig and attended masterclasses with renowned pianists. As a winner of high-ranking competitions, he designs various concert programs that combine classical works with new music or present his own compositions.

The audience can look forward to a special evening when Takis Würger and Florian Heinisch present "For Polina" - the love story of the year - as a musical reading on stage, creating a unique work of art.
