Tag der Offenen Tore

The Junge Nationaltheater and the Alte Feuerwache are opening their doors! There is theater and concerts for everyone on our stages. You can take a look behind the scenes on guided tours: For example, the JNTM's costume shop, the Alte Feuerwache's backstage and technology, and the studios of the independent radio station bermuda.funk. Workshops and hands-on activities await children and young people. There is plenty to discover around the building and in the hall: An exhibition of the urban street art project STADT.WAND.KUNST, a bermuda.funk stand, a literally big surprise from the Kurpfälzer Verein für Feuerwehrgeschichte Mannheim e. V. and an exciting roller slide from BKK Pfalz.
And in the evening we celebrate together!

Concerts

2 p.m. Richards Kindermusikladen (children's concert in the hall / Free admission)

Richards Kindermusikladenis now one of the big names infamily-friendly music. His songs are about chaotic everyday family life, little spins and funny discoveries.
Music with groove and heartfor children and their grown-ups, imaginative lyrics to ask questions and spin on. Organic rhythms, real instruments, no Smurf rubber pop!
Richard's catchytuneshave long been at home on therelevant children's channels and various CD compilations and the music video for the hit P.O.M.M.E.S . has atotal of over 250,000clicks !

Behind the project is Richard Haus, who landedthe summer hit GörliGörlias P.R. Kantate . He is a permanent member of theradioeins radio show and gives courses, workshops and trainingfor children, young people and adults as a musician, music producer, presenter, speaker, performer andfoley artist .A true multi-talent!

The concert with Tobi Polar, which was previously announced, unfortunately cannot take place due to illness.

8 pm The Jimi Hering Experience (café|bar or outside in good weather / Free admission)

Their legendary pre-Christmas concerts have a long tradition at the Alte Feuerwache! The Jimi Hering Experience offer rock, blues, soul and jazz, all performed in the special Jimi Hering sound and using all available means that were and are available: Unbridled imagination, loving irreverence and detail-loving spontaneity.
