What is that - an orchestra? That's right! It's the first rehearsal of the new season. The conductor wants to build on last year's success, but the group of cellos is not complete ...

In the interactive theater piece Symphonie, three actors, together with the audience and 60 digital string instruments, enter the situation of an orchestra rehearsal. Groups of instruments are formed and Mozart's Symphony No. 40 is played together. What begins harmlessly at first turns out to be more and more a breeding ground for discrimination. Who belongs, who is excluded? Who gets a voice and who doesn't? Do we need more solidarity? When do we put up resistance?

60 digital string instruments form the setting of the piece, in which power and discriminatory structures become visible.
