After the release of his debut album Symba Supermann, an intense summer of festivals in 2023 and a completely sold-out tour in nine cities, little will remain the same in the new year - if Symba has his way.
Like no other, the Berlin rapper knows how to set his life to music as a multi-layered kaleidoscope of emotions, revealing new facets with every line, from volatile lightness to deep, brooding melancholy. Without a clear central theme, but with a great deal of wit and sensitivity, the 24-year-old's lyrics string together colorful scenes from his everyday life in a never-ending stream of images; moodboard rap at its best.
Live, Symba and DJ AbuGlitsch ensure a constantly high level of energy on and in front of the stage. Bass thumps, trap drums shake in the air, synths bounce around like fans in the front row. The rapper never stands still, he dances and celebrates at eye level with the audience. Kids from blocks and suburban crocodiles of all ages switch off for an evening - and go diving hand in hand with Symba in the vast ocean of emotions.
Now: in 2024, Symba promises a second album and an even bigger tour. And the motto will continue to be: "If you're happy, dance - and if you're sad, dance too!"
