Sur-Lit Circle

In the organizer's words:

The reading circle of the glitch bookstore and the Lenbachhaus is entering a new round! In February we will be taking a look at the exhibition"But live here? No thanks. Surrealism + Anti-Fascism" as an opportunity to spend a whole month reading absurd, revolutionary and amusing things from the circle of surrealists.

In addition to short stories by Claude Cahun and Leonora Carrington, we will also be reading poetry by authors such as Dora Maar and Elsa von Freytag-Loringhoven. We will read texts by the group "La Main à plume" and talk about Ted Joans' image and text collages from "The Hipsters".

We will read many texts in English. The conversation will take place in German and English, depending on the composition of the group.
