Street & Club Styles LAB Special: Hip Hop

Workshop Hip Hop with Samantha Aimara

This workshop consists of three units: Insight into hip hop culture and basics, freestyle and choreography. The aim is for everyone to understand that hip hop means finding your own style in the mass of possibilities. The insight into this culture is a small summary of how it came about and which styles are represented, so that we can then go into the basic and social steps and the concept in freestyle becomes clearer. The last part consists of a short choreography in which the basic steps are included.

Sam is a hip hop and reggaeton dancer from Frankfurt with Italian/Peruvian roots. She has been dancing since the age of three and also works as a collaborative dancer with others in Frankfurt, Palermo and Lima. In 2023 she is one of the founders of the all-styles crew BlueMotion. She lives the hip hop culture not only as a dancer but as an artist with passion.

Street- & Clubstyles Lab Special

On Friday, February 28 and Saturday, March 1

For dance enthusiasts of all ages and levels who are interested in creative exchange in movement and new experiences!

During these two days, the Street- & Clubstyle Special will take place and we invite you to a diverse program that will inspire both beginners and experienced dancers, with workshops, jams, exchange and sharing. The theater will be the central place of encounter and exchange, where dance styles and personal stories meet.

On both days, the focus will be on hip-hop, afro fusion and house. Experienced instructors will pass on their knowledge in workshops and create space for individual experimentation. Here, participants can try out something new or expand their skills and gather new inspiration. We close this special with a jam session where everyone can enjoy the special atmosphere of the event together. There is room for diversity and exchange in every form. Whether dancer or spectator, beginner or professional - welcome to two days full of dance culture!

Jams where dancers and music lovers can meet, exchange ideas and groove together. These gatherings feature live DJ sets and provide an open space for creativity and community.
