Stille Utopost

In the organizer's words:

Wednesday, March 5: STILLE UTOPOST

From 15.00 - 20.00 at the Theater am Leibnizplatz
An afternoon workshop about the good life. What is the good life? And for whom? Who decides what is good - and what if our ideas about it change?
Inspired by Michael Sandel's "Das Unbehagen in der Demokratie" and current discourses on justice, sustainability and the digital future, STILLE UTOPOST invites you to a creative workshop. On March 5, 2025 from 3 to 8 p.m., we will explore central aspects of life in four interactive rooms. Each topic area will be accompanied by a specialist expert and an artist:
Living - neighborhood, urban development, urbanity (with Prof. Dr. Christian von Wissel, Theory of the City, Bremen University of Applied Sciences)
Food - nutrition, justice, sustainability (with Christian Holz, culicons Food Studio)
Breathing - climate protection, environment and nature (with Jana Bukowski-Oehlerking, actively committed to climate/democracy)
Understanding - Artificial intelligence and social media (with Dr. Pia Schreiber, AI representative at the constructivity agency)
The participating artists: Peter Lüchinger, Katrin Steinweg, Ulrike Knospe, Helge Tramsen.
In a dynamic alternation of input and creative design, the participants will develop visions of the future together - playfully, interactively and with surprising twists and turns. The event will conclude on March 9 at 11.00 a.m. with a show at the "hangover breakfast", where the resulting utopias will be staged. Curious? Want to join in the thinking, shaping and spinning? Then be there!
Free admission. Registration now possible.
