Celebrating 20 years of Hempel's Beatles tour!

"Why don't we do it in the road?", asked the Beatles on the White Album in 1968. Stefanie Hempel has been touring the streets of St. Pauli for an incredible 20 years.

With her ukulele and a great deal of passion, she celebrates her love of the Beatles and Hamburg's greatest pop music heritage. Because without Hamburg, there would be no Beatles. There is no place in the world where the boys from Liverpool have played more than in Hamburg! Here they became a professional live band, here they were given their image and here they grew together as a band. This is where they became the band that was to conquer the world. Nobody knows the places, the stories and the companions better than Stefanie Hempel. An ardent Beatles fan since childhood, the musician and songwriter has long been an institution in Hamburg's Kiez district herself and is regarded as THE German Beatles expert.

With her big shows for Beatles anniversaries, she has been bringing the crème de la crème of the German music scene to Hamburg stages for many years. Whether Otto Waalkes, Udo Lindenberg, Inga Rumpf, Wolfgang Niedecken or Annett Louisan. Even King Charles and Camilla love to sing the immortal songs of the Beatles with Stefanie.

On October 24 and 25, Stefanie Hempel will be celebrating her big anniversary at the St. Pauli Theater with her band and many musical friends, with favourite songs and guests from the last few years and a few surprises!
