STAND UP KOMITEE

In the organizer's words:

The hall lights go out, the stage is brightly lit, three steps to the microphone and off we go! Every goddamn Tuesday, the best stand-up comedians in Germany meet in the honorable, velvety halls of the Centralkomitee to test jokes, play the tried and tested, kill, celebrate, laugh, try things out and of course this is best done at Hamburg's biggest open mic - the Stand Up Komitee!

This is where experienced professionals and newcomers to the scene come together to play the best jokes in their repertoire and try out things they've never heard before. Whether everyday observations, bizarre thought spirals, frivolous innuendos, absurd songs or cynical jokes - whatever is funny is allowed. These can be punchlines and one-liners without end, detailed stories about the last Flixbus trip, highly explosive, black-humored political satire or even the moment when you noticed that you had run out of toilet paper (but it was already too late). And the entire show is garnished by a merciless improv game and the core team, who take turns to host: Anna Bartling, Hannes Maaß, Lennart Hamann and Hinnerk Köhn. The Stand Up Committee - every Tuesday, the biggest open mic in town!
