When Ernest the bear's precious violin breaks down, he and his best friend, Célestine the mouse, decide to travel to Ernest's homeland, Sharabska, to have the violin repaired. When they arrive, however, they discover that all forms of music have been banned in the country for many years. Ernest & Célestine do everything they can to bring back the music and with it the joy. They join the tricky "musical resistance" and soon the country comes back to life: "Long live music! And the freedom of sound!"
