Live at the Apollo - Spohn with his team

Werner Spohn has come full circle: he grew up in Geestemünde in the 1960s, very close to the Apollo. It was here that he saw his first movie ('Im weißen Rössl' with Peter Alexander!), and on 30.08.2024 he will be on stage with his team at the Apollo...

The team includes: Helmut Gawron (guitar), Gerd Liesegang (guitar), Lutz Wöhlken (drums), Hartmut 'Hammel' Bock (accordion) and, most recently, Gerd Schönfeld (formerly of Blackbeats and ZAMBO), according to Spohn the most 'well-rested' bass player in Bremerhaven.

Spohn has always written his own songs, has released many CDs and can look back on around 45 years of creative work.

In his songs, he humorously recounts his Fishtown life, takes a loving and tongue-in-cheek look at quirky contemporaries and shines a light on the almost forgotten corners of his home town. It was beautiful. And still is.

It promises to be a musically and lyrically stimulating evening. And a few surprise guests will also be pulled out of the hat again.

Live at the Apollo - the ultimate concert experience for all northern Germans.

Spohn and his team are looking forward to a big party with lots of fans and friends.
