Since childhood, the two friends with the shirt numbers 1 and 13 have played for the same soccer club: Fortuna Heidelberg. Today, they have both turned professional. As a striker, he is fighting against relegation to the 3rd division with his team, while as a keeper, she saves almost every ball and is on the verge of promotion to the 1st division with her team. Then two transfer offers appear that could change everything. The young striker could soon be playing for the big boys. She receives an invitation to try out for the national team. Childhood dreams coming true - so simple, so good? The two soon realize that the offer comes with various conditions that challenge their loyalties and capacities.

What does it mean when the interests of officials, donors and politicians increasingly dominate soccer? What (im)possibilities do women encounter in the world of soccer? And what can a friendship endure?

Milan Gather is a trained actor and was a member of the JES Stuttgart ensemble from 2018-2020. He wrote his first play there, "Astronauten", which was invited to several festivals in 2020 and won the Youth Play Prize at the Heidelberg Play Market. His second play "OMA MONIKA - was it?" won the KinderStückePreis at the 47th Mülheimer Theatertage in 2022 and 1st prize at the 25th Hessian Children's and Youth Theater Week KUSS. "Spiel für uns" is his first work at the Theater und Orchester Heidelberg.

This production is accompanied by offers from the Art & Education department.

This means that if your team plays well, you'll be in a better league.

Then they'll get offers that could change everything.

He could soon be playing with the best footballers.

She gets the chance to train with the national team.

These are dreams they already had as children.

But is it really that easy?

They soon realize that the offers come with strings attached.

These conditions present them with challenges.

How strong can a friendship be?

Can it survive difficult times?

On March 30, we will be performing the play "Spiel für uns".

But we're doing it differently.

We're doing a relaxed performance.

That's English and means: a relaxed performance.

What's different about a relaxed performance?

We have comfortable chairs to sit on.

The lights in the auditorium are not completely off.

The lights stay on a little.

The doors of the auditorium remain open.

And there are places where you can go if you need a break.

There is also "early boarding".

This means that you can enter the auditorium 30 minutes before the start.

This gives you enough time to find a good seat.
